Yensa Mentors wisdom

AYM_HeadShot_May17

For our words, ideas, actions to have the desired effect, we must be fully conscious of their impact.

Too often a lack of awareness of how we come across as people undermines our strengths and muddles our special qualities.

To shape a more confident and competent approach to the life and work we choose, being conscious of our abilities, skills, attitudes and how to improve these is a great starting point for higher personal and professional aspirations.

Yensa Mentors creates and delivers liberating programmes for people open to constructive change, in architecture, the arts,, and wellness.

Flying solo or co-creating with kindred professionals, Yensa Mentors mentors groups and individuals, in the workplace and privately.

Workshops, masterclasses and modular programmes are designed based on many, many years’ experience always with listening ear to what clients really need.

Amanda Yensa Manor

A prolific poet, I have recently taken to writing haiku*. It is succinct, evocative and complete.

About me in haiku

About me in haiku.001

* Traditionally three lines, 17 syllables, arising from awareness in the moment, composed naturally from a meditative state, close to Nature, once finished left as is, no edits, no changes.

About me in prose

My professional journey is portfolio based. A zen inspired mentor, experienced brand strategist, marketing communications leader, facilitator, and writer, I have worked with global and home-grown organisations in France, Europe, USA and the UK.

These include international architects Aukett Swanke, Barbican Centre, Birkbeck University of London, Breathe Yoga, Business in the Community, London Symphony Orchestra, Nestlé, Purcell architects, Tate Modern, The Life Centre, Tishman Speyer, UBS, Walt Disney Company and White Arkitekter.

I am a regular guest speaker at The London School of English for international business students, and also run private work and life mentoring programmes for individuals and groups.

More recently, I was invited to design and deliver Stress Less is More masterclasses and Zen yourself lunchtime workshops with an international architectural practice.

I am NLP certified, a dedicated yoga practitioner, published author, novice stone carver/sculptor, and volunteer for the British Red Cross as a Refugee Project Grants Writer.
